Casa Julián Álvarez is a truly special place to stay in Buenos Aires. From the moment you see the authentic-style façade with its elongated windows and tall doors, it feels like stepping into a piece of the city’s history, where tradition and quiet elegance meet.
The house follows a traditional layout, with two charming courtyards that bring in light and calm. There is a cozy breakfast spot and a spacious garden filled with flowers. When I arrived in late October, the garden was in full bloom and continued blossoming throughout my stay, the colours and fragrances created a peaceful retreat from the energy of the city.
I often enjoyed tea in the garden and spent relaxing afternoons reading, surrounded by birdsong and the gentle fragrance of the flowers. Casa Julián Álvarez offers much more than mere accommodation — it is a place full of charm, warmth, and memories. I hope you enjoy it as much as I have.

Oh my God, this house is so beautiful! Decorated with love down to the smallest detail. Very clean, everything is available! The surroundings are great; an incredible number of cafes, restaurants, etc. The guests are great too! And María is a great hostess, very friendly, helpful and the communication was great.
